When loading data in the Ready for Kindergarten Online (KReady) System for students who are receiving additional instructional services through a secondary organization (e.g. ESC or DD), data managers must remember that the scores can be matched to the correct program if the student demographic information is entered correctly – specifically the State Student Identification (SSID). The system allows a student to be loaded at two locations and receive ratings at both locations for the Early Learning Assessment. In a sense, this is like “sharing the student”. This sharing allows for the student to be loaded by the “home” district/organization and loaded into KReady by a location that may be supplying additional instructional service to enter scores for the assessment. For this to work successfully, it is essential to understand the necessary considerations and for the two organizations to partner in this effort.

It is suggested that the home district/org be the Point of Authority (POA) and share final ELA student ratings and scores with the ESC/DD. This is a local decision and should include communication, collaboration, and coordination between all parties.
