Public Feedback Survey
In 2017, the State Board of Education approved revisions to Ohio’s Learning Standards for Technology. The technology standards define what students need to know and be able to do to succeed in a technological world.
Educators from across the state have been working together to develop Ohio’s Model Curriculum for Technology. The model curriculum will help educators better understand the knowledge and skills called for in Ohio’s Learning Standards.
To inform this work, we have developed a survey to review the draft model curriculum and request your specific feedback on the model curriculum entries organized by grade bands. Educator working groups will consider your feedback when revising the draft prior to State Board adoption.
When offering feedback, please consider the following:
- Positive feedback indicating strengths and/or language that you want to keep
- Constructive and actionable feedback, including suggested revisions for the committee to consider
Before you begin your review, it may be helpful to download Ohio’s Technology Learning Standards. This document lays out the technology standards so you can see the progression of the standards at a glance from grades kindergarten to 12.
The model curriculum components are not included in the standards document and are only a part of the grade band surveys below.
The Ohio Department of Education appreciates your input on the Technology Model Curriculum. The survey will be open for feedback until June 10, 2019 at 11:45pm.
