FY 18 Connectivity Subsidy opens week of October 2

Please be aware that the FY2018 K-12 Connectivity Subsidy application will open for twenty business days beginning the week of October 2, 2017. Please be watchful for an e-mail invitation containing authentication credentials from the Cherwell Service Desk donotreply@ohio-k12.help. This invitation will be sent to the district Superintendent, Treasurer, and Technology Coordinator. FY17 K12 Network Subsidy Closing Oct 28

Please be reminded that the FY17 K-12 Network Connectivity Subsidy opportunity will close the end of business day today, Friday, October 28, 2016. FY2016 K12 Network Subsidy Application

The FY2016 K12 Network Subsidy Request and the FY2016 Building Data Collection are now available. You can submit your subsidy request for review until November 5, 2015. FY2016 Building Data Collection is available https://www.ohio-k12.help/ohk12n/.

Subsidy Portal Access

  1. Go to: https://subsidy.ohio-k12.help.
  2. Use “Click to login” in the upper right.
  3. Your Cherwell credentials will be emailed to your technology coordinator.

Complete and Submit Your Subsidy Application
Your FY2016 request was generated based on building connectivity data submitted for FY2015 subsidy. Furthermore, data about building instruction and population has be preloaded from OEDS and your ADM report.

Review each building’s connectivity for changes over the past 12 months. When all buildings have been verified or updated, your request will be submitted to your ITC Reviewer for validation. If there are questions, you will receive a copy of the email with details. If your request is validated, it will be reviewed by ODE staff before being scheduled for payment.

Payment will be processed after subsidy has been validated and the FY16 Building Data Collection has been completed. Initial payment can be expected within 2 weeks after your subsidy request is completed.

FY2016 K12 Network Subsidy coming Oct 5

Technology Coordinator,

The FY16 K12 Network Subsidy Program application will open on Monday, October 5. Please review the FY16 subsidy program information on the ODE website at: Ohio K-12 Network Program

Eligible K12 entities received an email notification on Sep 28 requesting that you test your district login credentials and review your FY15 award report. If you applied in FY15, your district credentials remain unchanged. You can access the subsidy program portal here: Ohio K12 Program Portal. Use “Click to login” in the upper right and the Cherwell credentials that were emailed.

If your district was awarded a K12 network subsidy in FY15, a subsidy award report is located under the “paper clip” on the tool bar. If your district was not awarded, you will see “No records found.”
