Dear Assessment Data Managers and Administrators,

Many districts are nearing, or have completed, their 20th day of instruction and the close of this year’s KRA-R administration. This message contains information about the KReady system and upcoming Data Manager Webinar on Oct. 3.

KReady System Update
The KReady system was experiencing technical issues generating reports earlier in the administration window. All report generation errors have now been corrected. The KRA Completion By Item Report, the Language and Literacy Report, the KRA Percentage Completion Report, and the Individual Student Reports are now working.

We will also send an email to teachers with a KReady teacher account and assigned to the KRA-R data collection for this school year. If teachers generated any KRA-R Individual Student Reports (ISRs) before September 7, those had errors and have been cleared from the system and they should generate a new report.

If teachers generated any ISRs between September 7 and September 27, the data in the reports was correct, but the formatting of the table did not include the performance level descriptor for the child’s overall scale score. Those have been fixed and teachers do not need to re-generate the report. If your district has already shared those reports with families, you do not need to re-print.

If teachers have not generated any ISRs yet but have entered all of their students’ ratings for each item, please feel confident that the ISR they generate now is correct. Teachers do not need to wait to generate those ISRs to share with families and place in cumulative folders.

The Language and Literacy Scale Score Reports had an error in the column headers and with the completion status, but the scores were correct. The formatting and completion status issues have been fixed.  If you would like to confirm that the scale scores are correct on your report, you can do that by looking up a student’s raw score in the KRA-R Score Conversion Tables. The raw score is available in the Domain Data export in KReady.  It is the Language and Literacy total points in column AF. The conversion table for Language and Literacy is on page three of the document.
