E-Rate Portal Sending Out “Create Form 471” Emails
Good morning E-Rate Community,
You may receive an email from the EPC portal with the subject line “New Task: Create FCC Form 471”. This could happen if you have any incomplete Form 471’s in the system. To check if that’s the case, simply click on “Tasks” on the blue menu bar. If you do have incomplete forms, make sure to discard them to stop receiving these emails. You can find the task listed as “Create Form 471” along with the application number/nickname. Just click on the task and accept it if prompted. Once you’re in the application, you’ll see the “Discard Form” button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
