Spring 2026 Pupil Transportation Survey

Purpose of this Survey

On behalf of the Transportation Workgroup, the Department of Education and Workforce is seeking your input on transportation matters. House Bill 96 of the 136th General Assembly created the Transportation Workgroup to monitor and review the student transportation system and to develop recommendations for changes to better meet the transportation needs of Ohio’s students. The workgroup must provide a report and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly no later than June 30, 2026.

Why Your Response Matters

In addition to the data provided by the Department, the workgroup hopes to gather district/school information that reflects the current state of student transportation. Therefore, completion of this survey will provide the workgroup with valuable information to help shape their recommendations. The members respectfully request your time in completing the survey as they gather facts that will aid them in their task.
