High Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)

Governor Mike DeWine recently signed House Bill 33 of the 135th General Assembly which mandates the Ohio Department of Education to conduct a survey of all public districts and community schools about the core literacy curriculum and intervention materials currently being used. To meet the Governor’s mandate, full cooperation of all districts and community schools is required. Additionally, participants are highly encouraged to complete questions in the survey about core instructional materials and professional development for K-12 Mathematics. Depending on how you answer some of the questions in this survey, you may be prompted to complete a building survey. Please be sure you complete the building level surveys if prompted.

This survey will help guide the resources and supports offered to Ohio schools and districts to ensure all students have access to high-quality instructional materials and all educators have access to high-quality professional development. The Department of Education and the Governor’s office appreciate your time and engagement in completing the full survey.
