The following update provides information about an upcoming Webinar for administrators about the new administration window for the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Revised (KRA-R) and an announcement about when teacher training will resume. KRA-R Implementation Webinar for Building Administrators
The Office of Early Learning and School Readiness is hosting a webinar for kindergarten administrators, test coordinators and data managers on Tuesday, March 8, from 9:30 – 11 a.m. This webinar is designed for principals and other building administrators who will be involved in coordinating or supporting the implementation of the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Revised (KRA-R). Department staff will provide details about the changes in the administration timeline, your role in KRA-R implementation and how you can support teachers as they administer the assessment. The webinar will also provide guidance on who can administer the assessment and information about trainings for data managers, administrators and teachers. The presentation will be recorded and posted on our website for those who are not able to attend.

Administration Timeline Update
The new administration window of the Kindergarten Reading Assessment Revised is not earlier than the first day of July of the school year and not later than the twentieth day of instruction of that school year. The Ready for Kindergarten Online (KReady) system opens on July 1 and closes on November 1, 2022 for the 2022 KRA-R administration.
Teacher Training
Training for teachers on administering the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Revised (KRA-R) will resume in June. Directions on how to register will be posted on our KRA for Teachers Webpage later this spring. Each teacher must have an individual account in the Ready for Kindergarten Online system (KReady) to participate in the training.
