New Online Training Opportunities Available Now!

It is our pleasure to introduce to you four ELA Jumpstart Modules. The Management Council in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education’s Office of Early Learning and School Readiness, has produced four short self-paced learning modules for early childhood educators implementing the Early Learning Assessment (ELA). These modules may serve as a primer for educators as they prepare to attend In-person ELA Training as well as a reference, resource and refresher for those currently utilizing the ELA.

These modules are freely available on the Help Desk KReady Support page at https://www.ohio-k12.help/kready-support/ and select the Assessment Administration button. This page contains multiple resources for educators including the Jump Start Modules. While it is possible to select any module in any order, the modules build upon material presented in the previous modules and are designed to be experienced in the following order:

Module 1: Foundations

Module 2: Deep Dive

Module 3: Technology

Module 4: Analysis & Application

The modules are available to anyone wanting more information about the ELA and provide a better understanding of the ELA’s background, administration, tools and uses for early childhood educators working with young children.
